Two US businessmen fraudulently cut two others out of their 2024 deal to acquire English soccer team Sheffield United FC from a Saudi prince, according to an unsealed lawsuit.
Vertex Albion Capital founder Tom Page is suing the team’s owners, Resilience Capital Partners co-founder Steve Rosen and Guardant Health Inc. CEO Helmy Eltoukhy, in Delaware’s Chancery Court. After the three and a fourth partner teamed up to buy Sheffield United from Prince Abdullah bin Mosaad bin Abdul Aziz Al Saud, Rosen and Eltoukhy secretly transferred ownership to their own “clone LLC,” according to the filing unsealed Thursday.
