SEC Advisory Panel Recommends Turnover, Diversity Disclosures

An SEC advisory panel pushed the regulator in a Thursday vote to require that more companies reveal additional information to investors about their workforces, including details on diversity and turnover.

The Securities and Exchange Commission’s Investor Advisory Committee in its recommendation suggested the regulator require companies to report data that could also include labor costs and the number of people that work full-time, part-time, or on a contingent basis.
