Scotland’s government is planning to water down a key climate change target, a move that may cause friction between the Scottish National Party and its Green Party partners, the Times newspaper reported.

The SNP’s net zero secretary, Mairi McAllan, is expected to announce that a target to reduce carbon emissions by 75% by 2030 is now unachievable, the paper reported late Wednesday, without saying where it obtained the information.
