SAP Promoted Manager After Repeated Accusations of Harassment

Charlotte quit the day after her boss was promoted. She decided to not leave quietly.

On her last day at German software giant SAP SE, Charlotte sent out an e-mail to 62 female colleagues. In the email, seen by Bloomberg, she accused Florian, her manager, of bullying subordinates and described sexist and discriminatory remarks he supposedly had made. She also wrote that although she was not the first person to file an official complaint about him, the internal processes intended to prevent such situations had failed.
