Ron Perelman Gets Nevada Venue for Fund’s Scientific Games Suit

Billionaire Ron Perelman and other leaders of Scientific Games Corp. got a Delaware Chancery Court judge to toss claims that they’re trying to force out its second-largest shareholder by citing phony concerns over its onetime stake in a payment processor reportedly used to fund Russia’s war in eastern Ukraine.

The gaming company’s dispute with the investor, Sylebra Capital Partners Master Fund Ltd., belongs in Nevada, where Scientific Games is now headquartered, incorporated, and leading a lawsuit of its own, Vice Chancellor Joseph R. Slights III ruled.
