Rogers Scions Settle Bitter Family Feud as Sisters Depart (2)

Two members of the billionaire clan that controls Rogers Communications Inc. are stepping down from the telecom company’s board in a settlement of the family’s long-running feud.

Melinda Rogers-Hixon and Martha Rogers — the sisters who had been embroiled in a legal battle with their brother, Edward Rogers — will retire from their roles as directors, the company saidWednesday.

Terms of the settlement weren’t disclosed. Rogers-Hixon declined to discussed details, but said she’s pleased that “everyone in all branches of the family is really being treated with respect.”
