Quantum Taps Daniel to Help Lead New Energy Infrastructure Unit

Quantum Capital Group, a US oil and natural gas investor, has tapped Ben Daniel to help lead its new infrastructure group.

Daniel, who spent more than a decade at BlackRock Inc.’s Global Infrastructure Partners, will work closely with Executive Vice Chairman Dwight Scott, the chair of Quantum Infrastructure Partners, according to a statement Tuesday.

Daniel, who was a partner at GIP and active in the firm’s pipeline and liquefied natural gas investments, will join Quantum next year.

Quantum has invested more than $5 billion of equity in energy assets and infrastructure.
