Proxy Adviser ISS to Offer Investors AI Voting Recommendations

ISS is launching a new AI research product it says will allow institutional investors to set voting policies based on a wide scale of viewpoints.

PolicySteward will provide automated research and voting recommendations following its planned 2027 launch, according to a Wednesday press release from ISS STOXX Governance. The product will let investors “take the wheel” on establishing voting policies and editing them as they see necessary, Lorraine Kelly, the firm’s global head of investment stewardship, said in an emailed statement.
