Pirelli Names Tanzi General Manager in Executives Reshuffle (2)

Pirelli & C. SpA hired Iveco Group NV’s Chief Financial Officer Francesco Tanzi as general manager amid a broader management overhaul that follows the Italian government’s intervention to limit the influence of China’s Sinochem.

Tanzi will head divisions including finance and services, sustainability and “future mobility”, the company said in a statement confirming an earlier report by Bloomberg. He will take some of the powers of Giorgio Bruno, the former designated CEO who announced his departure from the Formula One tire maker earlier this month, people familiar with the matter earlier said.
