Peloton’s Equal Pay Pledge Could Signal New Transparency Trend

Home fitness startup Peloton Interactive Inc. is pledging to pay employees equally across race and gender as part of its pitch to go public.

Peloton annually audits its employees’ pay and addresses any gaps among those who hold similar jobs but are of different races or genders, according to an Aug. 27 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission for its initial public offering.
