NYC Business Group Selects Jersey City Mayor Fulop as Next CEO

Jersey City Mayor Steven Fulop has been named the next chief executive officer of the Partnership for New York City, the influential trade group representing banks, real estate companies, law firms and other large employers.

Fulop, 48, who has a background on Wall Street, will succeed Kathy Wylde, who has led the organization for a quarter-century and announced her retirement earlier this year. He was selected by a search committee led by Pfizer Inc. CEO Albert Bourla, Tishman Speyer CEO Rob Speyer and Hearst Corp. CEO Steven Swartz.
