Notorious B.I.G. Dispute Advances Between Faith Evans, Producer

A court battle over control of The Notorious B.I.G.'s musical legacy will move forward for now between his widow, R&B singer Faith Evans, and a producer serving as estate executor for the music icon’s mother, who died last year.

A judge Tuesday tentatively denied a request by Evans to pause the proceedings in Delaware’s Chancery Court while a parallel dispute plays out in Pennsylvania, where the rap star’s children have challenged his mother’s will.
