Nissan to Go All-Electric in Europe by 2030 Despite UK Delay (2)

Nissan Motor Co. is sticking with its plan to produce only electric vehicles in Europe by 2030 even after UK Prime Minister Rishi Sunak delayed phasing out the sale of new fossil-fuel powered cars.

“There is no turning back now,” Chief Executive Officer Makoto Uchida said Monday at an event in London. “We believe it is the right thing to do for our business, our customers and for the planet.”
