NFT.com Investor Sues ‘Blockchain Evangelist’ for Fraud, Threats

A cryptocurrency investor sued the owner of NFT.com, a trading platform for nonfungible tokens, saying the serial entrepreneur duped him into helping launch the venture and then conspired to force him out.

The fraud lawsuit, filed in Delaware, targets Jordan Fried—who describes himself as a “blockchain evangelist”—and one of his ventures, Immutable Holdings Inc., which owns the NFT.com web domain. It also names Immutable’s chief attorney, Jeffrey Long, who allegedly delivered bogus legal advice and crass threats as part of the scheme.
