Feb. 21, 2019, 3:57 PM UTC

Newell Brands board members are looking at potential CEO candidates, WSJ reports, citing people familiar with the matter.

The Board has discussed replacing Chief Executive Michael Polk following disappointing sales; however, one unidentified person familiar told the WSJ that change isn’t imminent.

Polk told WSJ that the company “has taken a series of very decisive actions to set up the business for long-term success.“

Newell declined to comment to WSJ on any board discussions.
