New York, Colorado Join Fight to Lead Boeing Suit Over Crashes

The public pension funds of New York and Colorado hit Boeing Co. with another Delaware lawsuit blaming its board and management for the fallout from two catastrophic 737 Max 8 crashes, joining a group of investors sparring over which ones should lead the consolidated case.

“Locked in a battle for market share with Airbus, Boeing insisted that its 737 Max be built and certified for flight with as few hurdles as possible,” the states’ Chancery Court complaint says. “Both crashes were preventable. Boeing’s officers and directors did not do their jobs, and they knew it.”
