NBCUniversal CEO Leaves After ‘Inappropriate Relationship’ (3)

Jeff Shell is leaving his role as chief executive officer of NBCUniversal after admitting to an “inappropriate relationship” with an employee.

A lawyer for CNBC anchor and international correspondant Hadley Gamble confirmed on Monday that her client filed a complaint of harassment and sexual discrimination to the company.

Comcast Corp. the parent company of NBCUniversal, said on Sunday that based on mutual agreement, Shell was exiting “effective immediately” after an investigation into a complaint.
