After delivering a scare to Tesla Inc. shareholders late Feb. 25 by openly tussling with the Securities and Exchange Commission over his tweeting, the chief executive officer seemed to send the stock climbing with cryptic posts about news coming at 2 p.m. California time Feb. 28. A company spokesman declined to elaborate.
