Momentus Inc. defeated a bid by founder Mikhail Kokorich for more than $800,000 in legal fees stemming from a series of investigations and court cases that led him to step away from the space cargo startup.
Vice Chancellor Morgan T. Zurn dismissed Kokorich’s lawsuit from Delaware’s Chancery Court on Monday. Kokorich waived his right to be repaid for the cost of securities fraud litigation or regulatory probes involving national security concerns, the judge found.
“Kokorich released all his claims under the indemnification agreement, other agreements, and Momentus’ bylaws,” she wrote in a 41-page opinion.
