Mining Executives Fraud Charges Dropped After SFO Case Collapses

UK prosecutors dropped bribery and corruption charges against London Mining Plc executives a decade after first opening their investigation, a further blow to the beleaguered white collar crime agency.

The three executives Graeme Hossie, who was chief executive officer at the miner, Rachel Rhodes, chief financial officer, and a business consultant Ariel Armon saw the Serious Fraud Office formally discontinue the case on Thursday, with the accused blaming disclosure failures that have plagued the agency.
