Lombard Odier Creates New Unit to Focus Solely on Sustainability

Lombard Odier, the Swiss private bank and asset manager, is building a new firm to exclusively focus on sustainability investments to deploy capital at a faster pace toward the energy transition.

Lombard Odier’s asset manager, which manages 63 billion francs ($70 billion), is starting a partnership with sustainability consulting firm Systemiq — in which it already owns a stake — to create an investment firm called HolistiQ, according to a statement Tuesday. The business will be a unit focusing solely on sustainable investing in public and private markets.
