A creditor sued LBRY Inc., requesting a receiver to run Odysee Holdings Inc.—a subsidiary marketed as a “decentralized alternative to YouTube” that’s pledged as collateral—and halt the video-sharing platform’s “ongoing destruction.”
The lawsuit in Delaware’s Chancery Court also seeks to reinstate Odysee’s ousted CEO, Julian Chandra. Chandra was allegedly fired by LBRY founder Jeremy Kauffman for pushing back on his threats to damage Odysee by smearing it online rather than repay loans held by the creditor entity, Space Odysee Inc.
