Lashify Inc. is in talks with its competitor Qingdao Hollyren Cosmetics Co. to settle its patent infringement lawsuit concerning eyelash extensions kits.
Lashify and Hollyren asked to pause proceedings for seven months to finalize an agreement, according to a joint motion filed Thursday in the US District Court for the Western District of Texas. The proposed 7-month stay will give the companies enough time to agree on payment structure and conditions of the settlement, they said in the motion, which was submitted a month before their upcoming trial is set to begin.
