L3Harris Follows Crown Castle, Ends Investor Pact Case (Correct)

L3Harris Technologies Inc. has ended shareholder litigation over its cooperation agreement with activist DE Shaw & Co., borrowing from the playbook Crown Castle Inc. used to get a similar case taken off the fast track.

The aerospace and defense giant waived its pledge to support board nominees proposed by DE Shaw affiliates, a move that made the dispute moot, according to filings in Delaware’s Chancery Court. Vice Chancellor J. Travis Laster agreed to dismiss the lawsuit March 28, two weeks after expediting it.
