This week in Know Your Judge, we look at U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California Judge Claudia Wilken, who is presiding over a high-profile case about scholarships for NCAA athletes.

The case, In re: NCAA Grant-In-Aid Cap Antitrust Litigation, could result in more than $1 billion in damages for the NCAA as some 21,000 former players seek to be compensated for costs incurred while in college. It’s heading for trial in September.
