Kinder Morgan Says Dang Will Become CEO, Effective in August

Kinder Morgan Inc., one of the largest pipeline operators in the US, said president Kimberly Dang will replace Steven Kean as chief executive officer, effective Aug. 1.

Kean, who has been CEO for about eight years, will remain on the company’s board of directors, Kinder Morgan said in a statement. Tom Martin, the current head of the natural gas group, will become the company’s president, also effective Aug. 1.

Dang has been with the company for more than 20 years.
