JPMorgan Hires Ex-Goldman Oil Sales Executive for Energy Push

JPMorgan Chase & Co. hired Roy Golender from Goldman Sachs Group Inc. to lead corporate commodities sales across Europe, the Middle East and Africa, according to people with knowledge of the matter.

Golender will join JPMorgan in September, based in Paris, the people said, asking not to be identified as the appointment hasn’t been publicly announced. The bank is one of Wall Street’s largest players in commodity trading, along with Goldman, where Golender was most recently head of EMEA energy sales.
