Henkel Hit With Lawsuit Over Sale of ‘Iconic’ Right Guard Brand

Thriving Brands LLC sued Henkel AG affiliates in Delaware, claiming they abruptly broke off a manufacturing deal tied to the German multinational’s sale of the “iconic” Right Guard and Dry Idea deodorant brands.

The lawsuit accuses Henkel of breaching a transitional agreement covering European markets that was meant to last until September 2024. Thriving Brands—backed by Dallas-based Trive Capital and former Procter & Gamble Co. executives—is “wholly reliant on” the manufacturing deal, according to the complaint.
