Gun Auctioneer Resolves Client-Poaching Claims Against Ex-Owner

A client-poaching dispute between current and former owners of Pennsylvania firearms auctioneer Dan Morphy Auctions LLC has ended with an apparent settlement, according to court filings in Delaware.

The two sides docketed a joint stipulation dismissing the case Thursday from Delaware’s Chancery Court, where Dan Morphy and its namesake owner sued ex-owner James D. Julia and his company in 2019, two years after the $7.25 million asset sale. Vice Chancellor J. Travis Laster dismissed the case several hours later.
