Grifols SA’s board has agreed to name a new chief executive officer while two members of the founding family will step down from their executive roles, after corporate governance at the Spanish blood plasma company came under scrutiny following a short-seller report last month.
Nacho Abia, who was most recently executive officer at Olympus Corporation, will take over as CEO on April 1, Grifols said in a regulatory filing Monday.
