Globant Executive to Step Down With Stock On Pace for Worst Year

Software giant Globant SA’s Chief Operating Officer Patricia Pomies is stepping down this week as the company’s shares are on pace for the worst performance since it debuted in 2014.

Pomies, who joined Globant in 2013 and served as COO since 2019, won’t be replaced, according to a company statement Tuesday. Globant shares were down as much as 4% in intraday to trade at $89.51, exacerbating a 58% decline so far this year.

Chief Executive Officer Martin Migoya, who co-founded the company in Argentina, praised Pomies and noted the change was long expected.
