Former Telecom Italia SpA Chief Executive Officer Amos Genish is resigning from the phone company’s board, according to two people familiar with the matter.

Italy’s biggest phone carrier plans to replace Genish as director with Frank Cadoret, an executive at French media company Vivendi SA’s pay-TV unit Canal Plus, the people said, asking not to be identified discussing internal matters.
