Florida’s law banning businesses from enforcing Covid-19 vaccine mandates against their customers is constitutional, a divided federal appeals court in Atlanta ruled Thursday, handing a win to Republican Gov. Ron DeSantis, who championed the statute.
The US Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit lifted an injunction against the ban won by Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings Ltd., which instituted a vaccine requirement for staff and passengers after the pandemic temporarily crippled the global cruise industry.
