Exchange-Traded Fund Hired New Top Lawyer Before Nasdaq Deal

ETF Managers Group LLC, a provider of exchange-traded funds embroiled in a long-running dispute with Nasdaq Inc., brought on a new general counsel shortly before making peace this month.

Dorsey & Whitney financial services and investment management partner Matthew Bromberg jumped to ETFMG a few weeks before it reached a global settlement with Nasdaq and PureShares LLC to resolve years of litigation in New Jersey Superior Court and a federal court in downtown Manhattan over control of a $1 billion cybersecurity ETF.
