Energy Drink Rollout Must Be Stopped, Misappropriation Suit Says

Outlaw Beverage Inc. wants a preliminary injunction blocking its co-founder from selling an energy drink with a design, brand, and formula he allegedly stole on his way out the door.

Lance Collins, the beverage entrepreneur behind Coca-Cola Co.’s FUZE and Keurig Dr. Pepper’s Core, plans to start selling Adrenaline Shoc, or “A Shoc,” this month, with KDP’s backing.

The rollout will irreparably harm Outlaw, where Collins remains the second-largest shareholder despite usurping the “multi-billion opportunity,” according to the injunction motion unsealed June 11 in Delaware Chancery Court.
