DWS Adds Maragkopoulou, Deutsche Bank’s Kuder to Replace COO (2)

DWS Group appointed Deutsche Bank AG General Counsel Karen Kuder to its executive board as part of the first management shakeup under new Chief Executive Officer Stefan Hoops.

Kuder will become chief administrative officer at the end of the year and oversee control functions, DWS said in a statement Tuesday, confirming an earlier Bloomberg report. The firm also announced the appointment of Angela Maragkopoulou as chief operating officer to head IT. They will take over the responsibilities of COO Mark Cullen, who is stepping down from the executive board.
