Dueling Fraud Claims Advance Over Ammo Inc.'s GunBroker.com Deal

Ammo Inc. and the founder of GunBroker.com, a munitions marketplace it bought in 2021, lost dueling bids to shut down fraud claims stemming from the $240 million transaction.

Judge Paul R. Wallace said Tuesday that both sides should have the chance to back up allegations they lobbed at each other after Steven Urvan initiated the dispute in Delaware’s Chancery Court last year. The unproven allegations make it “reasonably conceivable” that either side could prevail at the end of the day, but only after a “fulsome inquiry into the facts,” the judge said.
