Deutsche Bank AG’s group general counsel Florian Drinhausen is stepping down next month after more than two years in the role.
Drinhausen will resign May 31 by “mutual agreement” and his successor as in-house legal chief will be determined in the “near future,” the German financial services giant said Wednesday.
“With Florian Drinhausen’s departure, Deutsche Bank is losing a valued colleague,” said a statement from Christian Sewing, chairman of the company’s management board. Sewing credited Drinhausen with making “a significant contribution to bringing to a close the complex legal disputes of the past and reducing the bank’s legal risks.”
