Fashion designer Jhane Barnes has settled her ex-husband’s lawsuit in Delaware Chancery Court claiming she uses her company as “her own personal piggybank.”
The Aug. 7 court filing disclosing the settlement of Howard Feinberg’s claims doesn’t include any deal terms. It says court approval of the agreement isn’t needed, even though it’s technically a derivative suit, because the ex-couple are the sole stockholders of Jhane Barnes Holdings Inc.
An attorney for Barnes told Bloomberg Law on Monday that she’s “pleased that the litigation brought by her ex-husband has been dismissed and looks forward to continuing her design work.”
