Delaware Justice Department Lawyer Named New Chancery Magistrate

A Delaware Department of Justice attorney has been named as a new Magistrate in Chancery, one of two additional judicial officers being appointed to help alleviate the business court’s busy workload.

Christian D. Wright joined the Court of Chancery on Monday, according to a statement. Chancellor Kathaleen St. Jude McCormick, the court’s chief judge, said Wright’s “extensive experience in corporate matters and history of service to our State made him an optimal candidate for the position.”
