Deere Shareholder Withdraws Bid for Workforce Diversity Data

A John Deere shareholder has pulled its request for the tractor manufacturer to report on workforce diversity as it rolls back DEI programs.

The proposal filed by shareholder advocacy group As You Sow will no longer get a vote at the Deere & Co. annual meeting Wednesday, the company said in a corporate filing Monday. As You Sow, representing an Amalgamated Bank index fund, “unilaterally withdrew” the resolution, Deere said in the filing.
