Crown Castle Co-Founder Says Fresh Look at His Slate Was a Sham

Crown Castle Inc. and co-founder Ted Miller, who’s seeking to win director seats at its upcoming annual meeting, are exchanging fresh legal hostilities over the company’s move to add its new CEO to its board.

Miller—who sued the cellular tower business in February over its cooperation agreement with activist hedge fund Elliott Investment Management LP—moved April 12 for an order blocking the company from expanding the board to accommodate its new chief, Steven Moskowitz. Crown Castle’s pledge to take a fresh look at Miller’s four nominees ahead of the May 22 vote was also a “sham,” according to his court ...
