Credit Union Ex-CEO’s NCUA Suit Off-Limits for District Court

A federal regulator can move forward with an administrative enforcement action against the former CEO of a Texas credit union after a federal appeals court ruled that a district judge lacked jurisdiction over the executive’s legal challenge.

Federal law bars district courts from hearing challenges to administrative actions filed by the National Credit Union Administration and federal banking regulators, the US Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit said.
