CreateAI Co-Founder Secures Control of Sina-Linked Tech Venture

A co-founder of CreateAI Holdings Inc., which faced years of scrutiny over its ties to China, won a US court case challenging his control over the artificial intelligence venture.

A judge ruled Monday for Mo Chen, an entrepreneur who also started the self-driving hydrogen-fueled-truck company Hydron Inc. with backing from Chinese tech giant Sina Corp. CreateAI was previously known as TuSimple Holdings Inc., an autonomous truck company that changed its name and pivoted to generative AI when it went private last year.
