Commerce Department Seeks Diversity Best Practices Suggestions

The US Department of Commerce on Monday said it is seeking public comment on its draft proposal for diversity best practices in the private sector.

The department is working on a Business Diversity Principles Initiative that it says “seeks to recognize the range of private sector efforts” that focus on diversity, equity, inclusion and accessibility, including human resources, workforce development and supplier diversity efforts. The comment period ends on January 5.
