Colorado lawmakers are planning to delay the implementation of the state’s first-in-the-nation law that requires developers to prevent AI discrimination after negotiations to overhaul it in a special session broke down Monday night.
Legislators couldn’t strike a compromise over the 2024 law (S.B. 205) that makes AI developers liable for potential bias by their products in employment, housing, and other services. Gov.
