CNBC host Marcus Lemonis was hit with a fraud lawsuit in Delaware court Monday claiming he’s “looting” a fashion company that appeared on his business rescue TV show, “The Profit,” by deliberately “drowning” it in debt in a scheme to foreclose on it and steal its trademarks.
“Lemonis is a wolf in sheep’s clothing,” the Chancery Court complaint says. “He presents himself as a savior to struggling small business owners, all the while preying on the business he purports to be saving.”
