Citigroup Shuffles Consumer Bank as Luchetti Takes Helm in U.S.

Citigroup Inc. named Gonzalo Luchetti head of U.S. consumer operations, where he’ll oversee efforts to beef up the bank’s wealth-management arm and ink more digital partnerships.

Luchetti was most recently head of Citigroup’s consumer business in the Asia-Pacific region and Europe, the Middle East and Africa. He’s shifting to the U.S. as the economy struggles with fallout from the coronavirus pandemic, including the loss of 140,000 jobs last month.
