Citadel CFO Hired by Schonfeld as Co-President Under CIO (1)

Schonfeld Strategic Advisors hired Citadel Chief Financial Officer Andrew Philipp as a co-president reporting directly to the investment boss, boosting its leadership ranks as it plans for the future.

Philipp, 43, will start in September, joining the executive committee and sharing the co-president role with Andrew Fishman, 66, who has held the job solo, according to an internal memo to staff. While Fishman doesn’t have immediate plans to retire, Philipp will be his longer-term successor for when he does, a person familiar with the matter said.
