A Florida federal district court granted summary judgment to Dart Container on the claims of a Cuban employee that he faced discrimination due to his national origin, including retaliation for filing HR complaints and later discharge, in violation of Title VII of the Civil Rights Act, ruling that the employee failed to show pretext or a convincing mosaic of discrimination surrounding his adverse employment actions, and couldn’t show that he engaged in protected activity related to retaliation.
